Hugo Tickner

Hugo Tickner studied at Hugenot College and obtained his B Diac degree in Social Sciences from UNISA in 1995, specialising in youth development.  He was involved in community development, coordinating different projects in the Western Cape.  In 1997 he started working as a business consultant with a specific focus on operational & human resource management.

After joining Octofin Consult as operational manager in 2000, he consulted with clients in the small & medium business environment. Through strategic planning, facilitation & project management he provided various human resource services, specialising in employment equity, skills development & transformation management.  In 2006 Hugo started working in association with Dorrington Matthee Consulting, an integrated empowerment consultancy, as transformation management consultant and B-BBEE strategist.  His work include strategy advice and implementation, project management and pre-verification audit.

Hugo specialises in broad based black economic empowerment, employment equity and enterprise development.  His experience in especially, the small and medium business environment, equips him with knowledge and skills to integrate transformation into the business strategy of clients.  Hugo also has a keen interest in Information Technology.   He has extensive experience and expertise in the development and implementation of electronic information administration and management systems.
